If I'm CORRECT about this, the MAIN "832" number was 999-8600.
Gordon
We've had so many numbers that I don't remember. I know that we had a bank of 575 numbers when we were in New Mexico. Then we moved it down to Houston Texas and we had the 832 numbers for a long time.

If I'M NOT MISTAKEN, Gordon, on FRIDAY, MAY 2 of that year, it MIGHT'VE been the late JOHN who assigned BOX 8578 to me, which I STILL HAVE to this very day, and of COURSE, at THAT time, the system was based in NEW MEXICO--I don't, but I WONDER if ANYONE ELSE remembers what the VERY FIRST number to MTS was, starting with area code 505.
Gordon
I remember that first day for MTS very clearly. I started signing people up for accounts at 1 o'clock that afternoon, and I didn't get to eat dinner until midnight because I was so busy. Back in the early days we did not have the automated sign-up process like we have now.
TERRANCE SADLER
WOW! I understand that there've been, and STILL ARE, those that've either NEVER heard of MTS until WHENEVER it might've been MUCH LATER ON, or believe it or NOT, as even further till NOW, although ESPECIALLY when it was in its infancy, those, including MYSELF, that DID, eagerly hit up as much of the "SOCIALMEDIA WORLD," if you will, which the vast majority of such BACK THEN WERE phone systems, moreso, than websites, and of COURSE, apps, ESPECIALLY as early as 2008, were STILL unheard of, for the MOST part, or so it seemed.
Moonwalker
I never heard of that phone system. Livewire is still around 20 years later since 1998 which I joined this year.
TERRANCE SADLER
So true.
Gordon
When we first started the system back in 2008 we had all of the things that people were looking for in the system like that. We would have continued with it, but the money just doesn't add up anymore. So we just keep the system as is for those who would still like to use it. Phone systems won't be around for much longer because they operate under a certain strategy in that strategy is really obsolete. But yes, there were tons and tons of good times and memories out there.
