In my opinion, it depends on what you're going to use it for or how much. Because mac computers only have iOS operation system, and if you want Windows in it, you have to install third-party programs to get it. The Mac also has a lot of interactions that you have to do, I tried using Mac because it was cheaper and I wanted a smaller computer, but in my opinion, windows is better because you can do more things with windows than iOS and the screen reader you are talking about is called NVDA. Is free to download an occupieds less memory than Jaws. I hope it helps.
