On the H one essential, you can overdub. But apparently, on the H4 essential, you cannot. That’s what I understand anyway.

I was wondering if you could overdub on that thing. One of my friends who has one does overdubs on hers. But then I asked another friend, and she said that particular recorder doesn't do that. So asking a third zoom H1E owner.
