Do you know how to do a hard reset? If it's a newer phone, you press the up volume then the down volume quickly then hold the power button and keep holding it until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears

I know there was a lot of issues with dictation for example, on iOS 26 in general, but I’m not too sure which version of iOS you’re on or what type of phone, but it was a long lasting bug which has been fixed in. It was iOS build of 26. I’m sorry if this does not help you, but that was the overall consensus that it was a major bug in iOS 26 earlier versions/builds.
