Out of curiosity, I looked up "racism" on the command-line dictionary I often use from Linux. This is what came back (pardon any odd formatting): 2 definitions found From WordNet (r) 3.0 (2006) [wn]: racism n 1: the prejudice that members of one race are intrinsically superior to members of other races 2: discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of another race [syn: {racism}, {racialism}, {racial discrimination}]

At Doug Lee, you forgot the third definition. Anything that makes white and Jewish liberals uncomfortable. I.e. conversations about certain behaviors.

Pilot: I had that interpretation in the back of my mind and forgot it was there. :-) Glad the Bierce definition amused you. A lot of entries in that thing amuse me.

London: Yes echo chambers are a real thing, and they can enhance and broaden a woman's fear of men. I'm saying that I believe there is a basic and statistically defensible instinct that, for that specific case, arrives before social things like echo chambers become a factor, whereas this is not the case for other fears such as fear of another race. So I say a woman's caution around men is unique in this way compared to the things this thread meant to address.
