Oh wait. That part wasn't in the book. The book is pretty tame because the author was smart and left before the really crazy stuff went down (one girl became a totally exploited sex worker, the other was reduced to a child-like state on the couch because she refused to be sexy and follow the same fate as her friend, it goes on.)
