    good discussion. honestly the bath/spaces thing just such a diversionary tactic, mostly for those who don't have the intelligence to realise that what matters is what you pay at the pump or at the check-out, and how keeping the less mentally agile arguing about trans people keeps them away from putting their energies into things that will actually improve their lives if they protest about them. Standard divide and rule stuff. Trans people, disabled people, ethnic minorities...we're all just grist for the mill and if we keep arguing with one another then that's a win conomics front. Its not hard.

    There's more than one way to protest, and one doesn’t even have to be loud about it. Just keep showing Trans media/Trans characters to the populace. The frightened will choose comfort over knowledge and understanding. If they willingly choose to ignore historical understandings of gender and science, then let them keep the friends they keep and let them lose friends as they spew how terrified they are of Trans people that aren't even a blip in the population.

    and the first, which is an actual accademic study? Come on man, I know you've got an axe to grind here and circumstances have kept you super intrenched in that position. But it has consistently been proven over years and in several countries that the people who are most often subjected to violence due to their choice of bathroom are transgender people themselves. And what about the woman who commented that she was harassed because she had had her breast removed for medical reasons? You recognise that this discourse also harms biological women, right? You can come at it with your anecdotal experience and that's fine, its not nothing. But data is data.
