I’m really glad that you didn’t get hurt from both of those things fallen on you, dear SHOWER rods at my family‘s house are also not connected to the wall. I’m very glad that hasn’t ever happened to me you and your family could look up other rods that you could get that either connect to the wall or suck in to the wall or have a different mechanism than just hanging with hooks.

Oh my! Well, think it's safe to say everything just went kur? Splat! Thank goodness your ok though. I remember one time I had something like that happened at my mom's place many years ago. I think I was trying to grab a towl off the top of the curtain and I must have pulled too hard, mind you I don't remember if I was getting in or out of the shower but all I hurd was this loud crash of metal rods and stuff falling on a tile floor and my reaction was like oh shit what the hell was that! That's when I realised, we got problems here.
