I don’t know whether you can reply to comments on here and I’m not seeing a reply option for a comments. So I’ll just put this here. Jacket FM was a social audio chat app similar to this and it was around earlier this year. Unfortunately, it was taken down because there were some people on it who were stirring up drama and that’s sort of thing. But it was a fun app, and I just hope that this one survives.

I haven’t used Clubhouse regularly in a long time. I used to use it back when it was really popular and a lot of people were using it all the time. But the conversations didn’t interest me that much and the notifications were blowing up my phone, so I kind of quit using it.
