I can identify with your recording because I grew up hanging out with the grown-ups or the old folks.

I think it helped me learn how to communicate because I was always asking questions and you couldn’t just talk to older people any type of way. I also think it was a source of protection in a way because they always kept me safe and when the other sighted kids would not play with me or interact with me, I could always talk to them.
