I definitely agree what you guys are saying but some people probably don’t want their privacy to be out there just saying

And just imagine if this trend really catches on and the rest of the world wants to do their part to help blind people. When we go to a restaurant the waiters and waitresses would want to talk to us directly instead of talking to the person we're with to take our order. Maybe this could help turn blindness around a little bit and keep people from seeing blindness as the worst possible thing that can happen to a person. Something like this can help the world see that we blind folks or regular people just like everybody else but that we just don't have the ability to see with their eyes. And if this trend even gets bigger perhaps it might make employers want to hire us more and make us more valuable in that way as well.

I think that we is blind people really benefit from something like this. First of all, Be My Eyes is free so we have a good service to use when we need it. But putting all of that stuff up on TikTok shows the rest of the world that it's not a bad thing to help us if we might need a little bit of help with some stuff occasionally. So perhaps when we is blind people encounter people in public they won't act so shy around us and will treat us with a little more dignity.
