My most memorable travelling experience is when I was in Korea. Interestingly, we Vietnamese call Korea: the cold country, but for some reason, it was mighty hot when I came 😂! I mean I knew it was in summer, but I don't get it because it was even hotter than Vietnam, so... Everything was nice: the people, the food, the places etc. My mom and I were actually the odd ones out among our Vietnamese team; we heard the news that "there was a summer-camp in Korea and it was opened for international candidates—the news came from a friend of mine who was from the North, so we joined the Northern team from the South to travel to Korea with them. As much as we enjoyed staying there, we were stuck on a hill, and every morning, it took my mom and I around 2 hours to walk from our hotel room to join the activities, and I'll be honest: I wish someone could carry me like I was a baby and let me sleep in their hands I waited for them to get to campus 😂! I mean it was hot, the road was bumpy, and don't forget that we were on a high hill coming up even higher! Oh and let's not ignore the fact that we did have to go back in the evening—somebody please throw me down on the floor" and give me a good kick and let gravity allow me to roll back to my hotell room I guess 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Let's talk about the contest that I joined there: I watched everyone in our Vietnamese team go up one-by-one, and I was sitting there like, "Wait, am I the only one who failed?". Then I thought I came on stage to take a picture when I heard one of the judges yelled my name and went, "You've missed the picture!". Then I heard another one went, "Where were you?", and I—as ignorant as I "—replied, "Down at the audience's seats...". Then I got the best scold of the day because I did not come to receive my prises 🤣🤣🤣: I got two—not one, meaning that I was called 4 times, but I couldn't hear my name being called... Tell me everyone, was I deaf, or was it the judges' fault that they couldn't pronounce my name? 😂😂😂😂 Now you know why I hesitate to tell foreigners my real name: it is not that hard to pronounce for me, but most of my foreign friends disagree. 😂 The situation didn't turn out that bad though—I did get the prises, but I was not with the other participants, so they ended up taking a picture of me alone on stage 🤣: yei, I'm a star now 🤣! And the two ladies that messed up my name did some apology seramony... or whatever that thing called... which made me even more nervous 😂! A day after that, we discovered that the school had public transportations. Um... we were about to leave, so was there any benefit to that? 🤣 Cool, right? We spent the rest of our trip walking back and forth from campus to the hotel room, and then discovered public transportations when we started leaving? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
