This is how blocking works on Discord and on some other platforms, and how I think blocking should work in general. If I block you, that means I don't want to see you; but if it keeps you from seeing me, that's punishing you instead of protecting me. In an open forum, I think that encourages abusive blocking, which is blocking people to hurt them instead of to save the blocker from hurt.

The concept is basicly revolving about, I might not want to view the rambles, but I still want to message you, join hangouts, and all that, just rambles aren't that interesting but I like you.
