A workaround is you could use AirPods or some type of earphones and use scribe me that way

Well let's look at it like this, let's say that you have someone living in your house that is hard of hearing and anytime they watch TV they need the volume as loud as it'll go, but while they're watching TV the volume is so loud that you can't hear your phone. Something like that would probably piss you off. Everybody has their own agenda, including us blind people. So your technology might piss somebody off who can see in here perfectly, but somebody else's technology might piss you off if it interfered with your life.
