Not a power not a proud; we accept being blind and keep living cause it's easier than accept death;

Nothing is free. Do you even have to pay for your independence. So I’m very thankful and very grateful that I am blessed by God to be able to be self-sufficient and to achieve a high-level of independence. I cook for myself, I do live alone. A grocery shop for myself, and I am able to get out and do all of these things because of what you have said in your post, we have several forms of transportation. Lyft, Uber, Access Ride, Ride Ondemand, and sometimes even caps when you can get one. Anyway, I hope that you are able to continue a high level of independence as well. I can tell you are independent and very strong with a very strong personality. That’s going to help you survive many challenges. Live your life the way you wanna live it and God bless you.

Thank you I appreciate that although there have been a few people within a run that I’ve posted this and it’s the blind sub and a lot of people have been like basically they don’t see blindnesses something to be proud of or whatever the case might be. But like at the same time, I’m well aware that being blind isn’t the greatest thing in the world, but however, why follow in it and be sad about it all the time and I just took something that frustrated me about my blindness today and turned it into more of a positive moment instead of letting the fact that I can’t drive through my whole entire day I don’t know I guess more people are enraged all the time anymore.

I dunno if I’d call it a superpower, but I’m pretty proud to be blind. Part of that is it’s far better than being ashamed of it. Can’t do anything no matter how I feel so might as well just lean into it.
