Well, I’m open to the conversation, that’s why I’ve been asking questions… I’m sorry that you have experienced harassment on this app and I hope you can eliminate it. I actually know about that myself to some extent. Anyway, I don’t think blind men are uniquely bad, and I don’t think this small Online blind community is representative of the larger community of blind folks.

It's not about promiscuity, it's about being able to explore one's sexuality without judgment. yg, I never went to blind school either, thank god, but when I had friends there and I'd visit for spring breaks, there was a lot of policing of normal teenaged dating behavior. I feel like things changed after the 90's and early 2000's is my guess, but I've experienced a lot of feeling that people with disabilities are innocent little flowers who can never be sexual whatsoever.

I think that some of it is just a natural instinct of men to be more aggressive when it comes to finding partners. Traditionally it's looked on favorably that a man pursues a woman not the other way around. It is just natural. I think that's OK. But I think the reason why blind men may seem extra aggressive is that it is probably harder for them to pursue women for a variety of reasons. So when they get the opportunity to be in proximity with a woman, they can reach out and try to take advantage of the opportunity. Not take advantage in a bad way just seize the opportunity I guess. Seize the moment. a lot of blind people are not necessarily in as many circles and as many places as cited people. A cited man could run some errands and he could see probably 20 different women that he thought was attractive from a distance and perhaps could go or did go to one or two of them to say hello or try to get their phone number. A blind man can go either by himself, or be escorted by a friend or family member, and run the same errands, but he will not see any women. He will hear voices of women but he will not see any. Making these connections so much harder for them. I get it. You're at an event and there's a couple of nice sounding blind women at your table and you're a blind guy, yeah, go for it. And some men have feelings. Some men have limits. Some men have standards and expectations. I don't believe they're all Whores and just want to lay down with anybody. I don't believe that. But they first need to seize that moment at least to get the phone number why they can while the woman is right there. Get yours everybody!!!
