And then some people are still on the old version wow a lot of of us are testing innovative version of all the features and then there’s a new app similar to this one is in beta it’s called relay me

I know I haven’t posted a ramble in months because I usually just go in the hangouts or play games with the bots. There is more to do on here now than just Post ramble so I think people might do some of those things.

See, this is why I was ambivalent about the bubbles. The hangouts are cool. But the bubbles and all these separate and private things that people can do that others can’t get involved in unless they’re invited and blah blah blah and I think it takes away from the main feed and that’s too bad because that is what people are going to be looking at if they’re going to determine whether or not they want to get on Ramblio so you don’t want to damage the main feed. And I think all of these extra accessories that I say could do some damage to that, I could be wrong. But that’s my opinion.

I think both level and type of engagement fluctuates a lot throughout a week, and even a single day. I have not felt like there is a decline at all, but there absolutely has been an increase in ways to interact. When I started checking for bubbles maybe a month or two ago, there were 87. Now, I count 113. Main-feed rambles occur in bursts, I'd say about three bursts per day during the week, not sure of the weekend pattern.

I remember expressing the same concern initially, then deciding it wasn't a problem after all. Time, and a lot of it, will tell the best story there. But hangouts and especially now games may also be a factor to consider; and those can and often are public.

For the heck of it, I just did a count: 95 rambles in the main feed in roughly the last 24 hours. So you're darn close at worst and right on at best.

See, and I've never even seen the bubbles. I'm assuming this is on the beta version? I haven't seen any new features whatsoever. But then again I'm only on here on the weekends due to my work schedule.

Bubbles by now are on the web interface, the Mac/Windows app, and the beta iOS version, but not the non-beta iOS version. Not sure about Android.

Social media has always ebbed and flowed. If you want more interaction, post more content. This is one of those instances where if you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem.

  • In the end, there can only be, the one!

You know it is strange to me that on an app that’s supposed to have over 3000 people signed up for it on the post feed. It’s about the same 20 people posting everything with a few odd ones here and there . and then in the hangout rooms it’s about the same 25 people spread over five or six or seven hangout rooms so I mean that’s about I don’t know what 45 people that engaging in that fueling this whole app all the time. that’s crazy craziness to me. What can we do to encourage people to post more content! And why aren’t they doing it. You know, JIm you and I came from VORAIL and I got used to the way VOrAIL works with the posting. You don’t have to go digging to look for the comments and things that people are leaving. I like that way much better here most people are not seeing the comments because unless you click the initial post and actually go and dig and look for them. You’re not gonna find them. They’re not readily available. This might be hurting this app.

The comment about comments, yes I'm having fun with English lol, is actually an interesting thing to consider. I never used Vorail so I don't know how it worked over there though. Hangouts, though, really seem to have two types of participation: fleeting, and constant. It's the fleeting ones that are hard to see; but I promise, people do zip through to see what's going on sometimes. They'll participate for a few minutes now and then but not park, whereas the constant ones will park. I'm personally a mix of the two, and sometimes not even on purpose lol: I'll come in to talk during lunch and accidentally stay until dinner, or I'll come in planning to park all day while working but then have to leave in five minutes for a call or something like that. Point is though, it's hard to measure hangout participation unless you look more often than I have time for. :)

I wish they would create a feature where you can mention each other so that we can bring in other people on certain Ramblio’s.
