How could we forget, when we are reminded of the same grief each year? I had kind of a separate bittersweet funny experience too, I was part of it...we were in history class and it was not Sep 11 but this lady was presenting and she said something, I was twelve and didn't know what was happening when the whole class booed her. I guess I thought she had made a bad joke that everyone thought would be funny to ham up so I remember booing along. Afterwards the teacher told us he couldn't believe we did that. That he was appalled because she was trying to mention something serious and at the time I realized what it was but now I don't. But I felt terrible contributing and yet, I'm not really political or anything so just didn't get it but the fact he took the class aside and was like I am just so appalled that you would do that...always stuck with me.
