A simple morning update

Cool of you. I used to do bodybuilding but now with my eye problems I don't want to take any chances and just running isn't my thing either. I don't know if it's the same for running as it is for bodybuilding, but after training I usually drink protein drinks, they are quite refreshing.
If I run, I usually take trails outside. I hate working out in a building. That would be crazy. I feel like it would be bad for my asthma to do that. Sounds like you're really into nature though. I love it. Camping is the greatest.

I do a mix of indoor and outdoor workouts. Every Saturday morning, though I go for an outdoor run. I love camping, but the weather is generally so hot here in Southern California that I don't get to do it often. Have you done any of the major trails at state or national parks, or are you more into local stuff?

I usually have a protein drink for breakfast, and some carbs right before I run. After I tend to have coffee and a smoothie or something really light. I'll probably eat more after in the winter though. I don't know much about bodybuilding, I mostly do the machines at the gym and a couple of free weights exercises.

If I understand correctly, bodybuilding is about eating healthy and training all parts of the body evenly. There are heavylifters, not sure if it's their corract english name, they train mostly only their arms. They have huge arms and thin legs.

We're still looking around for some really good national parks to try. So far, we've just stayed in North Carolina, but I definitely wanna try to find some other stuff. I've camped in different states before when I was younger, but I wanna try it now that I'm older. Thankfully, my 26-year-old daughter loves this stuff too. I have someone to do it with.
