And now they're trying to spin this whole victim narrative about the poor, suffering Ice officer who was forceably dragged 50 yards last June. Oh, this poor suffering man. @bandit: “get’em while they’re young” is meant towards socialist philosophy, how in these countries the women are encouraged to get the kids in State run daycare as soon as possible. If parrots are actually doing their job teaching their kids not to steal/not take another kid’s toys away from them, not make fun of other people, put themselves in someone else’s place to see how they would feel if treated badly, encouraging standards and being responsible, social justice would be instinctive, not have to be taught in the schools.

Apparently, in your mind, murder is OK if it suits the agenda. Conveniently forgetting every single person is entitled to fair/equal justice under the constitution. From everything that I’ve seen, the rising unrest against ICE is almost completely grassroots. There are people doing bake sales at local farmers markets to fund mutual aid for those whose family members have been arrested by ICE. This is very much not being led from the top.. fascism is deeply unpopular

In my day, schools didn’t have to spend too much time teaching people that murder is bad and it definitely wasn’t even seen as a political question

Get’em while they’re young:-) In my day in school you learned reading, writing, math and science, and then formed ideas about social justice independently when studying civics in later grades without being indoctrinated. We didn’t know where our teachers stood on politics.

It’s a matter of if you position cars to block federal enforcement officers from doing their job and you resist arrest, it’s at your own risk. The video shows what happened; media outlets will cover from the angle of it that suits their purposes forgetting people stirred up and for the ratings :-) if a car is being used as a weapon and it’s me against them, it’ll be me I’m thinking about, relevant to this man who had 30 leg stitches from a similar incident.

People are dying, being illegally kidnapped and detained with little to no due process. Wanton murder by the state continues to be normalized, with the idea that if you just act and comply like a good little boy, you may just get to keep your life. This is so beyond the realm of simple intellectual discourse. Because seriously, how could you possibly think that shooting at the driver of a vehicle that is, supposedly, coming at you is a good idea? But instead of some measure of accountability, all I am subjected to is a fucking dossier of every single supposedly bad thing this woman has done. Hell, there's a comment in this very thread that tries to make the point that because she wasn't, "a cub scout", the implication is that this act of state-sanctioned murder is somehow hunky dory.

Pat, isn't everything you said about the left the same for the right? I think both sides believe what they believe and want other people to see it their way. That does not sound like a left way of thinking. That sounds like a human way of thinking. Like with anything else. The other day someone put out a post about Coke or Pepsi. You like Coke. I like Pepsi. That's OK. I don't even know why they make coke. It's nasty. It's probably the nastiest soda I've ever had in my life. They could stop making it and I would be just fine. Am I wrong? The left  believes and stands on what they believe in the right beliefs and stands on what they believe. So I guess we both have a disease. If people should not believe the left, why should they believe the right? I think it's fine for people to take a side. And I think it's insane to say that I could take my side and stand on it, but you can't take your side and stand on it because your side is stupid. I'm so confused. And Romi, go for it. There's plenty of people saying what they feel with their whole chest, on this app. And the app is still here. You're not gonna break nothing. You can't break it anymore then what our government is broken right now. In the end, I'm fine with people taking a side, whatever side that is. But I really don't get people bullying people or teasing people or making fun of people because they took the other side.
