Especially if you can bring someone to build it. Or the money to pay someone to build it. It’s a lot of fucking work that’s for sure

Most of these apps we don’t see until they’re in beta. But it would be very interesting to know what the days were like when Josh first sat down and started this? Was it tons and tons and tons of hours that went into it before we even saw it? Was it a long 10 hour days or a few hours here and there?

I would love to see what it’s like in the war room at Apple right before they push out a new software update? That would be absolutely fascinating. I’ve watched the documentaries that they’ve shown of how the Meta data centers work and that’s very fascinating.

It’s the most hardest thing I’ve ever been involved with building an experience an app something to push out to the public, it’s a whole hell of a lot of work. I bet he spends 12 hours plus a day working on this, you don’t know until you find out my partner and the lead developer spends 80% of his time working on my project and he’s got four others of his own. Money and other developers is always welcome along with an idea and business plan and everything don’t come to me with a half-baked idea is what I’m saying lol nor would I go to josh with a half-baked idea Maybe in six months it will actually mean something but nobody is vibecoding something like this in their basement without help

I was trying to say I wish that we had sold the phone system that I ran back when it was worth something. That thing at one time was probably worth about $300,000 because of the money making ability that it had. Now it’s pretty much worthless.

You can make all kinds of things happen if you just put some creative ideas to use. A lot of people try to project what blind people can and cannot do and what we will and will not buy. So it takes someone brave enough to take the chance.

When it comes to blind people if you can just convince them what they’re capable of because a lot of people have spent their whole lives telling them what they’re not capable of so many things could actually happen. That’s one of the biggest things with a lot of blind people I’ve ran across the word can’t is part of their DNA because it was instilled into them from the moment they first took their first breath practically.

Networking is one of the best things you can do, but on your terms. This is the problem that I have with the NFB, they want you to work but on their terms.

The blind people that I talk about Dan are the blind people who just accept what they’ve been told and won’t get out there and try something for themselves. The blind people who let their families control them well into their 40s just because it’s easier to do that than it is to do something for yourself.

The NFB could be a very very powerful organization if they just taught differently. The NFB wants you to build yourself up, but for them not for you. And they packaged that as independence.

For example if I’m going to teach you something I want to teach you to do it eventually on your own and not depend on me being there all the time. The NFB wants to teach you, but they want you to depend on them for life for what they’ve taught you.

I tried every way I could think of to keep the peace, but cutting them out of my life at 50 was the best thing I ever did. It was all about loyalty and respect. It took me a long time to finally understand that it was only going one way.

That really sucks Anthony and I’ve known a lot of people like that. I had a girl that I came real close to marrying and we were in love with one another big time. But she wouldn’t marry me because her family wouldn’t approve because I wasn’t one of them. It really tore her apart as well, but that’s how she was raised and that’s all she knew. I’ve often wondered if she ever found happiness I don’t think so.

I would love to be able to teach blind people that there really is a world outside of their family. Because that’s truly the way that life is supposed to be. Your family raises you, then you branch out and do your own thing. Then you start your own family if you choose to. And you should be able to have your original family along with their support by your side.
