It's hard to find a horror movie nowadays that lives up to the genre and puts the fear of Jesus in me😂, but thinking of rewatching Abigail, which was pretty creepy for a vamp flick, and the first m3gan movie. Also Crystal Lake is described (at least the Friday the 13th prequel on audio vault). I also plan on rewatching the Halloween Town movies from the disney channels on halloween, not because they are particularly terrifying, but for nostalgia's sake.

The Carie remake is a limited series produced and mostly written by Mike Flanagan. I finished it a couple days ago and didn't find it scary at all, not even a little bit, which was disappointing considering Flanagan is one of my favourite writers in the horror genre as it relates to tv shows. It ended up being more of a statement on Cyber Bullying more than anything else. What I will say is that I appreciate the liberties he's taken into creating an ending I can safely say no one saw coming as it was nowhere in the novel by Stephen King lol
