Bizarre synchronization issue with Safari bookmarks

have you tried the icloud bookmarks addon for firefox? Icloud for windows should also be installed. Alternatively, export the safari bookmarks import that into firefox. Firefox is still the easiest bookmark manager on windows without using something external.
