When I was a child growing up when there was a power outage, my parents would like candles and would all sit in the living room. we would talk about anything and everything. I fondly remember those times. Good bonding sessions.

The worst power outage I've ever gone through was late October 2012 after hurricane Sandy. Power was out for four days. And it gets pretty chilly late October here in southern New England. That was not fun at all.

For any Biblical folk, we oughta name @Kong's squirrel Sampson!! For any non-Biblical folk, I say that because Sampson, after being betrayed by a girl, took down a whole structure with him when he was killed.
