Can you get one on one instruction from a qualified instructor? That would probably go a long way toward helping you get proficient. Lino has a lot of good tips there. I've known him for years and he knows his stuff. The help section is a vast resource of information, so just start at the basics. It has key comands for JAWS as well as for different apps, and it's very well laid out.

Is it absolutely necessary for you to use jaws? Many people that I know use NVDA simply because it does pretty much all the basics that jaws can do and obviously it’s free.

AI in the general sence, is not trained in how screen reader technoligy works or is used. It's a common mistake to assume that AI knows everything because it is only is good as it is being programmed or trained to be.

Trusting an AI was your first mistake lol. But Jaws has built in tutorials that might help. I use NVDA on PC, so I can’t really help you there.
