As long as the language is English/Spanish, then I would certainly be interested. And your initial post you specified European versus non-European languages, but I may have misunderstood your initial intention. I thought you were intending on languages with more of a European  influence versus languages, more commonly spoken outside of Europe.

I'm not intending on specifying the country. I think both perspectives are useful, but if that stops you from joining, that'd be sad. :-) Having people of different ability levels to help is incredibly useful. :-)

Yeah, tbh but having a community makes it easier to move between groups without clutter. Also, if anyone uses your number without your permission outside of the group, you can always let an admin know and they can be kicked from the group. Idk, I understand the caution, but also WhatsApp is by far the most accessible and streamlined.

It sounds like a really good idea, WhatsApp is probably the easiest way to do it but I do wonder if there might be a better app, just because WhatsApp shows your mobile number to everyone in the group and I’ve heard of horror stories of how that can go wrong. And it would be useful to have a part of the group that explores various sounds that aren’t found in English, like the French R and others.
