Well, if you're not super serious about it, and you don't want to pay someone for their time to teach you, as I'm sure you know there are lots of piano players in the community, then I would suggest looking things up on YouTube. There are tons and tons of people on YouTube who offer tutorials on singing, guitars, and a piano. Good luck
I’d highly reccomend checking out Bill Brown’s site at http://musicfortheblind.com. Bill’s stuff is great for what you want.

Thanks both! I will probably use YouTube a lot but I had never heard of this Bill Brown character, so I'll give that a peek too

Thank you Shaf! I found all the Bill Brown stuff free through the national library service, so I can't wait to get into it.

That's great! I'm curious to see how you get on with his classes. Specifically understanding music theory

I foresee music theory giving me some trouble, but that's probably because I've never perceived myself as particularly musical. Excited to try though!

Oh that’s cool that Bill’s stuff is on there. I’m in Canada here, so couldn’t get access to NLS there in the US I don’t think. Cool that you found his stuff there
