I was in a tornado warning on my own in August 2020. I remember because I went to shower had no idea the storms hadn’t subsided from the thunderstorm that morning, and all of a sudden I hear my very first phone siren and it’s not just a watch it’s not just suggestion of storms. It’s a full on tornado warning. I was just getting past being afraid of everything when it came to storms. And the tornado warning sent me back quite a bit although I wasn’t terrified it was just very intense. Without thinking I ran outside thankfully hadn’t gotten into the shower yet or anything, and went into the elevator to try and escape. I wasn’t hurt, but I got stuck in it and got scared and couldn’t call anybody because dad was on airplane mode and they didn’t have good reception. I heard the wind around me and was just like well. This is my last day. I’ve lived a great life and then somebody got me out of the elevator and we went downstairs into the parking garage and we huddled around And I started to get really scared and anxious, and then it was over.
