Romans 12:9 NIV: "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." I am amused at this modernized interpretation! I am even more amused at Gemini's defense of it: "While your friend’s modern-day slang translation is hilarious, he actually had the context of Romans 12:9 exactly right! Romans 12:9 is famous for the phrase, "Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good". The Greek word used for "abhor" (apostygountes) literally means to detest, loathe, or be utterly disgusted by something. In plain terms, Paul is telling the Romans to look at bad things and say, "Wow, that sucks," and then stay far away from it."

The thing I really loved about this post was that you spoke of how much you truly do enjoy the work you do and also you put the doubters to rest as well. You know like well what if your AI doesn’t work or what of this blind thing doesn’t work that you’re trying to do chat I mean, what if

I didn’t get to finish off my last comment because I got a rude alert from a low battery. But what I was going to say is that you are absolutely right if one thing doesn’t work out they’re always other alternatives and if you love God, you know you’re going to be successful doing something if you put your faith in him and just believe and be patient. And even if you never do get a job, put your faith in God, and he will take care of your life. You will have what you need and most of what you want. Because God answers his prayers, according to his will not ours. But he does answer prayers, and if you believe you can have what you want according to God‘s will have faith and believe that God loves us, and you can have success in your life. There are many people who have never had a job in their lives, not because they didn’t want one, but because it is so hard for her to come by. God takes care of them. And he’ll take care of you. Hopefully you will be blessed to find that job that really satisfies you like Sean has. But while you’re looking, don’t get frustrated, just pray and trust in God. Your life is in his hands. At least that’s where my life is.
