I used to have a teakettle like this, in much, much bigger dimensions and it would turn off by itself. All hale Europe's failsafes or something, else the house will burn burn. :D

Ah, different from mine. I had to actually pour it myself, and I had to wait for it to stop before trying. Nice gadget, though. Yeah, yours is definitely safer unless you don't mind getting burned and don't live in the east where you live through shear stubbornness. Haha.
