I know someone who's had four last names since I've known her. I try to change with the times and her current name, but she sure makes it difficult. LOL

That is a newish thing with iOS I never took advantage of. I tend to change my contact entry for people manually. I now also took to entering my own calendar events, and not relying on invitations from others. Sounds like the feature is half-baked and not worth the headache.

I got iPhone 14 Pro. Also, I don’t know how to explain this but people who sends like the contact on their end to other people they can change their name and mess around with it. IDK some people be doing that.

Yeah it seems like it’s probably buggy, I don’t mess with all that I just put their legal name in my contacts and be done with it. I’m not gonna update somebody’s name every time they want to change it.
