    I have the ecobee smart thermostat. It works kind of the same way, but you can override and set a temperature hold. I think with Google nest, you want to look for the Eco mode setting or Home assist or something similar and turn it off. If you turn it off the temperature that you said should hold.

    Don’t have a nest, but look for auto scheduling under your thermostat settings in the Google home app. That needs to be disabled from what I’ve found.
