@Jo you're right about muting, it's just that other software uses "mute" and "subscribe" in a different way. Mute is when you just don't want to see something, like posts from a person, subject, etc, and "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" is what you do when you voluntarily want to receive, or stop receiving, notifications about a post (rambles in this example). The features are there and work well, just a semantic issue.
