This was a very fascinating and interesting post. And it is going to certainly make me think about the voices that I use and that I listen to when Indies apps and I will especially pay more attention to what’s going on here in Ramblio since you mentioned Ramblio, the last part of your post, but thank you thank you very much. There’s always something new to learn out here and I appreciate it.
No problem! I’ve actually studied speech synthesis in depth since I was 13. Even now that I’m all grown up and I’m 26, I still feel like reviving the old technology somehow.

Hey y’all! For those reading in the comments, I actually plan at some point on doing a demonstration of an actual formant based synthesizer. This is the same technology that Eloquence is based on, but I plan on breaking it down into the basic fundamentals of an utterance alone. Eloquence fans are more than welcome to reach out to me if you want to connect! I’m into the synthesizer as well. Let’s talk about it! I will post that demonstration when I make the time to do so.
