Hey Colton, from the way you told the story, it sounds like you handled it the best way you could have with the information and feedback the other person was giving you. YOur attitude about talking through it with your friends, with strangers and with yourself is a good strategy as well. I'm sorry it happened to you, but you aren't alone, this has happened to countless others and she may just not have been the right person for you. Don't think of it as a rejection, think of it as being open for a person who is right for you. And again, your clear communication throughout the whole thing was great and I hope you never stop that. Even if other people don't give you back similar transparency in their communication back to you. I guess ultimately she was, but she definitely could have been honest with you sooner.
