Different isn't a good thing when you don't feel safe. Just saying.

I think that it’s a simple feature that you can approve or not approve at least followers. That’s a very easy feature to implement on this app!

Yes, clubhouse took the big dump because they thought they were going to be able to make money that way. But at the end of the day the best they could do was offer a premium service where you can appear anonymously in a room which is really ridiculous. And they have jacked Clubhouse up so much that no one really even cares about using it anymore.

I doubt anybody would make any real money on here. They're just aren't enough people. You need hundreds of thousands if not millions in order to gain enough subscribers to actually earn money from it. Alternatively, subscriptions or being able to offer content to a private group could be something the content creator pays for to unlock that feature.

Well we definitely learned through Vorail how quickly blind people scatter when an app like this goes premium. That app used to be really thriving, but once it went premium it was dwindle down to about 25 or 30 people it seemed like it was just the same people posting every day. It got so monotonous out there that you could actually tell what time of day people are gonna post and what they were going to say because they were so few of them. Then of course for content creation you have the whole SSI thing and having to pay taxes on money you make and stuff like that so that probably wouldn't work that well either.

Well the unique thing about this app is that it's something different. There are tons of social media platforms out there with following features and features where you have to approve and so on so forth. This is different and unique. And different can be a good thing.

I understand that this app is being developed by one person. I understand that this app isn't Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc. I understand that this app is a startup, and that it's still very new. With that being said, though, if someone is going to develop an app like this, there should be features like, (1) the ability to approve and/or deny followers, (2) the ability to make rambles public or set so that only your followers can view them, and (3) obviously, the ability to block people. I've unfortunately been on apps where blocking wasn't implemented properly, which is why I'm not as optimistic about blocking as I used to be. Again, I hope the features I've mentioned get implemented in the future. Also, to those who are saying that text posts would defeat the point of the app, then maybe there shouldn't be text comments, or the ability to send messages via text. There is, though, which is why I suggested a text post feature for those who may not feel as comfortable making audio posts.

I can't imagine what other safety features could be possible besides a block feature. Once he blocked someone they're totally gone right? This is more of a public thing and not like Facebook where someone would have to follow you to even hear you in the first place. Everybody here is everybody because it's public, if you're having a problem with someone you block them and they don't hear you and you don't hear them. Now if someone tries other methods to contact you once you've blocked them then you take a step further somehow.

Glad you're sticking around. I don't think you need to leave the app just because you would feel safer with more controls around who can and can't follow you. I also don't think text posts should be a thing on this app because, as I've said elsewhere, then it just becomes like every other social media app that already allows for text posts and defeats the purpose of the audio-based social media it's supposed to be, but I agree with you about everything else.
King Tripple Whopper
If you have a text based option for the ramble posts area of the app, then it will defeat the entire app purpose, which is an audio based to community. That option is not going to happen!

Well the block feature is really the only safety feature that you need. Now if you block someone and they go through other methods to try to contact you then you would obviously have to take other actions.
