Ouch, that condition, which I believe is the one that is now called Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS), can cause several different but unpleasant effects. I assume by your urgency that your friend has encountered something life-threatening. No need for details; God knows way more than I would need to myself. My hopes and prayers for your friend's relief from symptoms, and ability to face whatever must be with faith and peace of mind and heart.
