How do you communicate with your foreign Uber and Lyft drivers?

Majority of the driver that do not speak. English normally will have their phone translate. Whatever you messaged them that’s what I normally do. It’s just message them and it’ll translate just like when they message you it translates to English.

I usually text them ahead of time letting them know that I am blind and using the 🦯 as that is the universal symbol and I make sure to talk clearly and slowly when speaking and not using slang
