Governer yeah. first letter navigation is possible with the windows t key so I don't know why they reinvented it. I've seen you posting about the BT Speak. I too am a proud BT Speak cult member I mean owner. Owner. That's what I am. There is no cult. Lol. :) Thanks for posting!

I’ve heard good things about the BT speak. I’m sure the same will be true of the BT braille. I have heard of someone who thought that the BT speak was a full-fledged computer. I think he’s learned his lesson since.

Well, it is a full fledged computer but it runs the linux operating system which doesn't have a ton of accessible programs for the GUI part, and the command line is not familiar to a lot of us who grew up using windows or mac or phones. But you can run complex websites like soundcloud or youtube slow, but fine on the BT Speak. It runs the up to date Chromium and Firefox browsers.

I am going to say this: If you charge 6 grand for a damn tablet with 2 years of Android updates and 2019 hardware even now in 2026, then it shows what a scam your products are. This is why I never buy anything blind specialized. It is all an outright zero value to price.

Braille sense whatever it was? Mediatech midrange CPU that turns off the tablet when you throw a bit of inference it's way, stuck on Android12 which was 80percent dropped from support already. Some may even have 10. And I don't really bother. But these specs count for 300 dollars at most. Not 6 grand.

I must say when I found out how out of date the Braille Note Touch Plus was on release it broke my heart a little. That's not OK. This new one seems a lot better but there are other ones like it. The B.book is another braille laptop that has been out for a little while and is sold in the US as well bc it's made by a European company.

Yes we are. Cackle with glee! I like linux and the BT Speak and BT Braille make it easy to use linux apps. I only have the BT Speak though because for me the BT Braille is a waste of money.
