To stop the screen reader from speaking, tap the screen one time with two fingers and that will stop it until it needs to speak again.

Hey folks I prefer if folks didn't offer advice on voiceover etc. because I have a ton of other disabilities that makes it impossible to use assistive tech in the same way as many other Blind and for example I cannot use the touchscreen on my phone. I use an external pointing device and to last week Apple did not support this and I'm still figuring out how to use gestures with appointing device

Hello, how are you? Is it okay if we can get to know each other and be friends and my name is Adama and yes I don’t tend to tell many people about my disabilities and specially I don’t always use VoiceOver because it’s annoying to me as well as a blind person because what I tend to do is I tend to use it only if I’m writing a message I’m doing voice messages apart from that I don’t use it at all. The remaining of my messages is people helping me and I tend to turn off VoiceOver quite a lot but yeah. Anna I also tend to have a pointer myself as well because my college gave me one and a lot of of the time they have to help me because I don’t use my screen reader as much and because of me being on Dialysis and I use my arm a lot and I cannot use my left hand this one and my right hand sometimes plays because I get pain on both hands and arms so they have to help me with typing reading text and all other things and coming back to one of your rambles that I have heard I don’t like audio description. I tend to get people to describe what’s on the screen to me and one of my conditions is glucoma and cataracts and there’s another one that I’m sure my phone will never understand my voice to text would never understand it so I will have to do a recording of it and basically that is it makes me delay what I can process on what I cannot so I cannot understand quite a lot of information and I tend to struggle quite a lot because of my additional needs. I got quite a lot of knee and disabilities so yeah but you know I was looking for someone to actually be friend The and talk about some stuff regarding inside of this field of topic because in my case and your case and other people case S who have got different needs and a visual impaired and completely blind we don’t get we don’t get cared from others internally or externally from organisations and I think if we get to know each other, I think this would be a good topic for me and you to get into if that’s okay with you
