@beto thanks for the suggestion. I don't believe it has the service port.

The studio seven still has the proprietary round service port for charging capabilities and does not use USB-C to charge the internal battery on the Bluetooth speaker. This is why I don’t purchase this particular companies speakers because I stick with JBL because it utilizes USB-C to charge their batteries on their Bluetooth model of speakers. But, the Speaker sounds really good!

I am glad to know that the studio 7 and later are stereo speakers. I know that the onyx studio 6 was not, and that used to annoy me. Also, this is one of the speakers you can actually buy from many cell phone stores, if you are someone who likes paying them off in payments. The onyx studio lineup is very good at pairing with mobile devices, one of the features I like that the studio 6 had is that voiceover does not come through the speaker, it goes through your phone when using this particular model. And, because this speaker can get loud, voice over turns up so you can hear it over the sound of the speaker.

Actually, you can change that. You just have to go to more info and Bluetooth settings and set the device type to speaker. For any speaker in general.

Those speakers are freaking bad ass. I’ve got the studio five. A friend of mine has the nine I believe but I could have that wrong. But yeah, those things are freaking awesome.
