    Honestly, I would use a foldable cane that has a rolling marshmallow tip. That’s what I use. I noticed that it is easier to slide your cane back-and-forth and you won’t get stuck as often in the cracks.

    If you can afford it, a graphite cane from Ambutech. They're light and very strong and can take a lot of abuse. I've had people step on them and they didn't even bend. These days the top joint collapses, protecting the cane even more.
