Well Meg, unfortunately, it's not up to you to determine the arrangement or production decisions for any particular artist. My suggestion to you is if you feel overwhelmed by a piece of music that someone has produced, kindly turn it off. Thanking someone for not making a song a certain way just because you get overwhelmed seems a bit pretentious and entitled to me. I for one and a producer of music, and that just sounded a little bit interesting to hear someone thank someone for not making their music uncomfortable for them. Wow! Are you sure your middle name isn't Karen? 😕

I’m not clear on all of the words. Let us sing together and then something about a joyous song? Also, thank you for not making it all wacky and crazy and everything. I can take a funny joke like that at face value, but sometimes I get sensory overload when things multiply like this and then go crazy and add special effects and stuff. So thank you for a nice peaceful one.
