    So it looks like it was the app because I got confirmation from somebody else that it was down for a few seconds. It didn’t last very long at all, which is what I expected.

    There was a server glitch for a few minutes, sort of like there was near the beginning of August one day; but it fixed itself. That's my understanding anyway based on what I could see.
