I sure as hell didn't expect doubletalk. Never really used that one much at all unless it was with those old book ports or some of the newer braille n speaks that used it from 2004 and those Braille lite millenniums. If there is something with dectalk I wish would work again was the nws one. I tried smoothtalker but it doesn't work on latest version of NVDA so I had to get a portable version of 2025.3 or whatever the last version of 2025 was.

Yeah. It's been awesome! Never thought I'd see the day, emulated Doubletalk. Ironically was about to buy a Tripletalk Mini and start using that, and am gonna hold off now. Still might get it because hardware synths are cool. Ah, and there's SharpVox. Only thing left I wanna see is the Bestspeech addon updated properly, the current 64-bit NVDA driver has bugs if you use rate boost parameter.

Sharpvox? Hmm don't think i've hurd of that one before. I somehow got smoothtalker working, I guess changing some stuff around in the manifest file seemed to work, discovered this by accident earlier today. Also doubletalk got updated to 0.1.12. What is read speaker?
