It’s hard for me to use voiceover with Google maps for some reason I used to have the app on my phone and I deleted it. It was like too complicated for me. I don’t know what it is the way the app is set up. I don’t feel like VoiceOver works well with that app. I don’t know, but have you tried the app called VoiceVista? I have the app and it’s great. I live in the state so I’m not sure if they have that in the UK I think you’re from the UK lol but you should check that app out. It’s a GPS app and it talks to you and announces what you’re going the streets landmarks restaurants things like that it’s really useful and I really think it’s helpful.

You and your popping peas are going to drive me crazy! 🤣 But anyway, I would suggest like the previous user that you use Google maps and tandem with voice Vista. I will reply with the links that I shared with another user who was asking about voice Vista the other day.
