I just love how he lets the words do the work, for lack of a better term. Even with O Sole Mio, it’s not rigid! I could go on and on about his phrasing with both the words and guitar because it’s just lovely! There are clips of hiiiiiiim in concert on YouTube, and in those clips you can really tell that he knows what he’s doing and how important the traditional music and keeping it alive really was to him! If you’re interested I can either PM you or post a link in the comments, Brian!

I have just found him on Apple Music. There's quite a lot there. And I have just listened to 'O sole mio. i'm stunned by the beautiful treatment. Absolutely beautiful. Almost a different song. I've never really liked it sung by the big famous tenors, but what a treat sung by this man. thank you for introducing him to me I will now spend the next few days listening to him. not only his voice but his guitar playing is so gentle.

Here is the English Translation of the Neapolitan lyrics: What a wonderful thing a sunny day The serene air after a thunderstorm The fresh air, and a party is already going on… What a wonderful thing a sunny day. But another sun, that’s brighter still It’s my own sun that’s in your face! The sun, my own sun It’s in your face! It’s in your face! When night comes and the sun has gone down, I start feeling blue; I’d stay below your window When night comes and the sun has gone down. But another sun, that’s brighter still It’s my own sun that’s in your face! The sun, my own sun It’s in your face! It’s in your face!
