Thanks for reminding me of this book. I have seen the movie so now I can read the book and see if I like it better which I'm guessing I probably will because I usually like the books much more than I like the movies and I thought the movie was actually pretty good.

@Daisy: oh yes, Emma Donoghue is a great author. Ive read two more of her books: The Wonder and The Pull of the Stars, they are very different from the one I recommended here, but they aare both great books. Shes amazing.

Yeah, I watched the movie 4 5 years ago. It was really interesting. I recommend it. I think you can find it on Audiowall.net.

There's a pretty famous movie based on this book, and Emma Donoghue has written a lot of other beautiful things too. I haven't read it in many years, but I used to be a big fan of Kissing the Witch by her.
