  Hey, I completely understand where you're coming from. It's kind of like when people think I'm a man because my voice is deep for a women, so it makes sense. But it's okay. It's just who we are. I hate my voice, and I will always hate my voice, but oh well.

  Hey, I also have Retinopathy of Prematurity, and I am also 27. And as I understand it, it says in the terms and conditions that the app is only for people 18 and older. I think the developer himself said that he made it that way so that it wouldn't be as difficult or something to report issues or something. I don't remember everything he said about it, but I know I saw a comment about it on somebody else's ramble.

  Explaining about the young voice all the time can be a lot of work. Glad you found the vacuum funnel though!

  I was born with retinopathy of prematurity as well. It’s crazy to believe how many people in this app I’ve met that have the same eye condition as me

  I'm not sure what it is with the evolution of society but it is really interesting. If you go back and listen to some of the old time radio shows that were recorded back in the 40s and 50s, people in their early 20s sounded like they were in their 60s or 70s. But nowadays you do have a lot of people in their 30s and even 40s who sound like they're in their late teens.

  You're actually not the only one that sounds like a child. I sound like one myself and it's one of the reasons why I never post any voice audios of me here because I'm shy, there are a lot of men that like this kind of voices and I don't feel comfortable at all, but also I don't want to explain to anyone if I'm an adult or not. You shouldn't have to explain yourself either, it's your voice and the good side is we are not going to sound older whenever we get older lol. Some people have horrible voices themselves and we don't say anything to them. 😂😂😂😂

  You have the same condition as me too! And, it's ok. You're not a chiold. Trust me, my voice doesn't sound as normal either. I totally understand! I wonder if it's because our lungs collapsed when we were a baby due to too much oxygen to the brain? I'm assuming that's how yours happened, also my retinas became detached as well.
