I like designing and creating structures using imagination. I also appreciate creative design, and I believe visually impaired people can participate in art and painting too, as long as they have the right accessible materials or tools.

I have two amazing descriptions of architecture, both from radio shows, that you remind me of here. One is from a radio dramatization of a Russian book called Solaris. The other is from a radio dramatization from Mike Walker that I think is called Omega, if I'm remembering the right one. Both I could find if that seems relevant here.

I'm high partial, so probably not the target audience, but I love architecture. It's not the same I realize, but find an architecture nerd who has the patience to describe all of these different styles to you and you'll know a lot more about them. There's tactile drawing boards, that would allow people to trace more complex images like buildings and skylines so that you could feel them, this would require someone with enough vision to do it, but is an option. You can also have someone 3-D print small scale, simple models of especially the outside structures of buildings so you could get a feel. Finally, my favorite method, start being the person who feels up a good structure. If you're not caressing a concrete pillar like it's your lover, are you really all that into architecture?

I can’t believe youve listened to Omega, that’s where I heard it too and it’s my favourite radio play.

Oh wow that's amazingly cool! Yeah that was quite a production. And they properly tripped us listeners up once... but not to give anything away... (mischievous grin to the Ramblio masses)

I wonder if you’ve heard the companion piece, Alpha. It’s a very different sort of story but one that deals with another sci-fi concept in quite an interesting way.

I have indeed and thought of asking you that myself. :-) I have heard several of Mike Walker's productions though I don't remember other titles now. It is rare for me to track down radio plays by a specific person as a goal, but for him I did.

Well, if you like little puzzle box stories like those, I can recommend R D Wingfield, there’s always a twist at the end.

One warning if anyone goes looking for Solaris, the highest quality version I found on Youtube is a single long file but is not in order; it includes sections at the wrong times.
